DOUBLE A: Grades 2-5

Sessions:
Practices and games Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30-7:30 pm with optional weekend practices.  The spring season runs from after April break to the end of the school year, with optional practices during April break.

Location of events: Various fields around town including Ben Hem, Johnson, West Hill Park, and Heffler Park.

A mix of coach pitch with an introduction to player pitch.  Batters get a total of seven pitches and strike out if they have not put the ball in play.  Players play conventional positions in the field, including outfield.

*Players in 2nd grade can play Double A or Single A. This is a family decision. If a second-grader has never played baseball before and/or struggles making contact off coach pitch, they may prefer Single A.

*Players in 3rd grade can try out for AAA - if they are not selected, they will automatically make a Double A team.
