Open to any and all players in these age groups who wish to begin playing!
Players interested in softball and are in 1st grade are encouraged to participate in Beginner League Softball
Natick Little League is excited to offer a wiffle ball program for pre-K children (children who are one year away from attending kindergarten) and kindergarteners. Introduce your son or daughter to the game in this fun and safe environment! Participants will work on throwing, catching, running and hitting in a fun mini game format to keep our youngest players engaged and active. Wiffle ball is open to pre-k in both the fall and spring and to kindergarteners in the fall only.
Spring wiffle ball will be held once a week from 4-5pm on Sundays
Sessions:
Practice 1 weekday of parent choice from 5:30-6:30 pm, 1 hr game Saturday morning or Sunday afternoon (parent choice). The spring season runs from after April break to the end of the school year.
Location of events: Practices at Sargent, games at Murphy
Tee Ball is for both baseball and softball players (conventional reduced flight baseballs will be used). Players hit from a batting tee and play conventional positions in the infield. Build skills, play hard, and have fun! Practices at Sargent develop fundamentals, while games at Murphy’s dirt infields bring fast-paced action and a chance to practice teamwork and sportsmanship.
*Baseball players who are in 1st grade can choose Tee Ball or Single A. This is a family decision. If a first grader has never played baseball before and/or does not make consistent contact with a ball on the tee, they may prefer tee ball.
*Softball players who are in 1st grade should choose Beginner Softball (see below).
